About the artist

Meet Sharese

Sharese Favor has found her place in the vibrant world of art. A single mother raising two sons, she embraces her identity as a neurodivergent artist living with ADHD and dyslexia, and she brings that way of seeing to every canvas.

Her artistic journey began with the profound loss of her mother. Seeking solace, she turned first to drawing, then to painting. What started as a way to survive grief became a vital outlet in her everyday life, and it still is.

In the art room at Triune Mercy Center, Sharese has transformed pain into creativity. Over 100 pieces of art, she has processed loss, trauma, and her own lived experience of being unhoused. She thinks of each one as a personal journal entry. When you bring a piece home, you are holding a page of her story.

“The beauty that can emerge from pain.”
